Online registration agreement
Booking terms.
These terms cover the online purchase and administration of a Shore Bike Camps registration.
Current version: July 25, 20261. Who these terms are between
These Booking Terms are between the adult completing a registration and Shore Bike Camps. Shore Bike Camps operates in North Vancouver, British Columbia and can be contacted at hello@shorebikecamps.ca.
The adult completing a registration must be at least 18 years old and must be the rider’s parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have legal authority to register the rider and provide information about them.
2. The camp service
The camp purchased is the programme, trail group, schedule and camp week shown in the final booking review and confirmation. The scheduled first and final camp dates are the supply dates for the service.
Camp descriptions, rider requirements, meeting location and scheduled hours shown during registration form part of the booking. Reasonable operational changes may be made as described in the Camp Policies.
3. Prices, currency, taxes and payment
All prices are stated and payable in Canadian dollars. GST and any other required charge will be itemized before payment. The parent or guardian authorizes Shore Bike Camps and its payment processor, Stripe, to charge the final amount displayed at checkout.
A rider’s place is not reserved until payment succeeds, registration is complete and the required booking acknowledgements have been accepted. A declined, incomplete, disputed or reversed payment does not reserve a place.
4. Review, correction and confirmation
Before payment, the customer will have an express opportunity to review the rider, camp, price, taxes, policies and contact information; correct errors; and accept or decline the booking.
After purchase, Shore Bike Camps will send a confirmation to the email address supplied during registration. The confirmation should include the customer’s name, contract date, camp details and supply dates, itemized price, taxes and total, payment terms, cancellation terms, accepted document versions, participation-waiver instructions and Shore Bike Camps’ required contact information.
5. Camp policies, cancellations and refunds
The version of the Shore Bike Camps Camp Policies presented and accepted during checkout forms part of the booking agreement. It covers family cancellations and transfers, minimum enrolment, weather and trail conditions, equipment, rider readiness, conduct, drop-off and pickup.
Nothing in these Booking Terms or the Camp Policies limits a consumer right that cannot legally be limited. If mandatory law gives the customer a cancellation or refund right that conflicts with the Camp Policies, the mandatory legal right applies.
6. Participation waiver
After booking, Shore Bike Camps will send the registering adult a separate participation waiver through Smartwaiver. A parent or legal guardian must complete it before the rider participates. Shore Bike Camps may send reminders seven days and 72 hours before camp.
Failure to complete the waiver does not cancel the booking or create a refund, credit or transfer right, but the rider cannot participate until the waiver is complete.
7. Accurate information and authority
The registering adult confirms that the information supplied is complete and accurate and agrees to promptly update Shore Bike Camps if relevant medical, emergency-contact, pickup or rider information changes.
If registering a rider on behalf of another person, the registering adult is responsible for having the authority to do so and for ensuring the rider and their parent or guardian receive the applicable camp information and policies.
8. Electronic communications
The customer agrees that booking confirmations, receipts, policy copies and operational camp notices may be delivered electronically to the email address or phone number supplied during registration. The customer is responsible for keeping that contact information current.
9. Third-party services
Stripe processes payment information and Smartwaiver processes participation waivers. Hosting, database, email and other service providers may process information only to provide services to Shore Bike Camps. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply.
Shore Bike Camps remains responsible for delivering the purchased camp service and for its own legal and privacy obligations.
10. Website information and corrections
Shore Bike Camps makes reasonable efforts to keep programme, price, date and availability information accurate. Genuine typographical, technical, pricing or inventory errors may be corrected.
If a material error affects a completed booking and Shore Bike Camps cannot honour the booking as confirmed, the family may accept the corrected booking or receive a full refund of camp fees paid.
11. Website use and intellectual property
The Shore Bike Camps name, logo, website design, photographs and original written material may not be copied, republished or used commercially without permission, except for ordinary personal use such as reviewing or retaining booking information.
Users must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code or use automated tools in a way that harms or unreasonably burdens the service.
12. Liability and mandatory rights
Activity-related risks, releases and any legally permitted limitation of liability are addressed in the separate participation waiver. These Booking Terms do not attempt to replace that waiver.
Nothing in these Booking Terms excludes a responsibility or consumer protection that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Governing law and general terms
These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Subject to any mandatory consumer right, disputes will be addressed in British Columbia.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of that term. The booking review, confirmation, accepted Camp Policies and participation waiver together form the applicable agreement for the registration.
14. Contact
Questions, notices and written cancellation or transfer requests may be sent to hello@shorebikecamps.ca. Current version: July 25, 2026.
